  • What are the best methods to brew H&C coffee?
This is a complex question and it pretty much depends on your taste. There are many factors that affect the quality of the cup. On the consumer end, not only brewing plays a role but also grinding. We preffer conic burr grinders. They release the natural oils of the coffee enhancing the characteristics of the coffee. As for the brewing method, each one will give you different results. The key factors are grinding coarseness and water to coffee ratio. We encourage you to try and compare different methods until you find your favorite.
  • Is H&C coffee good for making cold brew?
Yes! We love cold brew coffee and all our coffees will give you a cold brew. If you are up for a treat of subtle sweetness, we suggest you try our Natural or Black Honey procesed coffees. Stay tuned. We will soon be posting great tips for brewing.
  • How should I store my coffee?
To preserve the freshness of your coffee, it is important to protect it from light, air, heat and moisture. We recommend keeping your coffee in an airtight dark container and to store it in a cool location.
  • What kind of beans do you sell?
All of our coffee is 100% Arabica.
  • What do you mean by "Farm to Cup?""
We refer to our coffee as "farm to cup" because we work directly with the farm to secure and ship the highest quality beans at industry leading speeds. The beans we use see only the farm, hulling center (where they are sorted and bagged), and then our roaster before they arrive at your home! Often times the coffee business can be a complicaed one. With so many middlemen, importers, exporters, handlers, and retailers the quality if the coffee can have adverse affects, but more importantly, the complex system can hurt the famers as trade methods are not held to adequate ethical standards. At H&C we ensure a set quality, values, and ethics that will always be held to the highest standard.
  • Do you ship internationally?
Our products are available exclusively in the US.
